Every Euro Counts:
The Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel is making contributions to the Carlton Charity Fund, which supports talented yet unprivileged children who want to pursue playing hockey. A 2 EUR charge is added to each guest's hotel bill and then donated to the SSAB Foundation to support these children with clothing and equipment in order to pursue their dreams. Guests may contribute a different amount or remove the voluntary contribution by informing the reception staff at check-out.
Bio-cleaning of Mattresses:
This green hotel in Bratislava puts a strong focus on the highest satisfaction of the guests. As a result, the hotel staff has implemented a monthly bio-cleaning of mattresses. Working in conjunction with a specialized company called BIOVITAL, the mattresses undergo a chemical-free antibacterial cleaning and then are tested for the presence of allergens. Certificates of this cleaning are displayed on each floor of the hotel.
